 Employers:
EMPLOYER OF RECORD
When Headcount Management becomes the legal employer of record for the temporary and contract personnel you choose, we become responsible for processing their weekly payroll, reporting taxes and providing workers' compensation and general liability insurance. This enables your company to acquire those needed workers without endangering the benefits or compensation packages for your permanent staff.
You still choose the people you want, set the pay scale and determine the length of the employment assignment. Headcount takes care of the rest by administering the payroll, accounting, and back office and HR functions associated with temporary workers - including workers' compensation and general liability insurance, supplemental health benefits, state and federal deposits -- and employee taxes and reporting. We also provide you with a dedicated staff to work with you and ensure that each employee has a support structure that includes both you and Headcount.
Business organizations have found it advantageous to use Headcount as the employer of record, as it allows them to focus on supporting their permanent staff, and still be able to freely hire temporary and contract personnel as needed. In fact, many businesses find using Headcount as the employer of record provides an excellent transition for converting temporary personnel to permanent employees.
